Terry cloth is a knit fabric that is defined by the loops of fibre that are woven in two different directions: vertical and horizontal. It is made by using two warp beams, one is the ground warp, and the other is a pile warp which creates the loops.This is a woven fabric with long loops that can absorb large amounts of water. Its content is usually 100% cotton, but may sometimes contain polyester.
